Our Response to Coronavirus
The health, safety and well-being of our guests and the communities we serve is always our top priority. Over the last few weeks, we have been closely tracking the evolving situation around COVID-19 (commonly known as coronavirus) and are closely monitoring guidance provided by the CDC and local health officials from around the globe where we serve our guests. We will continue to rely on their recommendations and expertise to inform our actions. We have created a Wahlburgers Task Force to help protect our restaurants with the following initiatives:
- We are in close communication with our franchisees across the organization and have provided recommended additional measures used to clean our restaurants daily
- In particular, we are paying special attention to all guest touch points that receive the most amount of human contact like menus, door handles and table-side condiments with recommended sanitizing products, and are reinforcing our staff, daily, to participate in recommended hygiene practices
- In addition to our regular daily cleaning initiatives, we have conducted deep cleans at all of our corporately owned restaurants
- We are working with our third party delivery partners to ensure they are also following recommended guidelines by the CDC
In addition to our guests, we are also taking steps to ensure the welfare of our team members. This includes instructing employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers to assess their own course of action and have cancelled all company sponsored non-essential travel.
